Hi again, I am looking at some really clean YJ's whose only shortcomings are their 4 cyl powerplants. Are there any differences in the rest of the powertrain from a 4 to a 6 cyl. Jeep? Any suspension differences?

Actually, I need to remove the internals. There is a round ring that holds a round plate in place that is under the steering wheel. There is no picture or instructions in the Haynes manual for this. Does anyone have a link to or a picture of the exploded view of this?

While installing the wiring kit for my hard top I have run into a snag while putting it all back together. It seems that my gauges have stopped working. There is power to the cluster, the warning lights work and the odometer, just the gauges don't.

My XJ got stolen last night! They are stealing cars and chopping them around here. In a few days, they will probably find a shell of my Jeep somewhere, stirpped to the uni-body. :-( I wish people would just leave my stuff alone! Carl

and Sport (which uses the same engine)? I know that Sahara's come with the speakers mounted in the roll bar, which I don't particulary care about. They seem to have the same alloy wheels and the same fenders. Are there differences in trim or in seats that would explain

I've developed a coolant leak in my '97 cherokee 4.0l. I drove 6 miles the other day and when I parked there was a sudden gush of coolant which came from the hole in the front valance (or whatever the large piece of rubber is called that covers the front of the engine

I have an 03 TJ 4.0L engine. on the trail sometimes even in traffic when i have the AC on the my temp starts to go up. it does not do this without the AC on. any ideas on where to start at? usually i just kill the AC and temp goes back to 210. but i live in hawaii and i like
