Chevy V-8 Conversion Head-achers02 Jan 2006 22:31 GMT1
I'm responding to the NG 'cause I've got a review for the Chevy V-8
conversion headers I got from 4WD Hardware and some of the other conversion
items.  This was a Chevy V-8 w/TPI conversion into a '76 Jeep CJ-7.  It'll
carry over to a wide year range & some of it's no big ...
Wrangler Sahara Hard Top Installation?02 Jan 2006 20:47 GMT3
I bought a 99 Wrangler last summer.  A buddy of mine got the hard top
ready to take off while I was inside.  I never thought it would be a
big deal, but I put it back on the Jeep this weekend.  This seems
stupid, but the top is on the jeep fine, but the lock tabs over the
Rear wiper02 Jan 2006 20:10 GMT6
Is there any way to adjust the tension on the rear wiper for a TJ
hardtop wiper? Mine seems to no longer press down on the window
sufficiently.
Thanks
WJ Lense Polishing02 Jan 2006 19:47 GMT4
I had a 2001 WJ with the most awful scared head lamps.....I didn't know
about lenses polishing till this news group mention that that was an
option......I had a professional detailer working on the side come and
polish my lenses.....they are like new now, clean and clear....what ...
Wheel Bolt Pattern02 Jan 2006 18:24 GMT5
This has probably been beaten to death, but is the wheel bolt pattern on the
'97 TJ the same as the '94YJ ?
I got my wife a "new to her" TJ for Christmas, but she wants the old wheels
swapped over from her old '94, which I'll drive now, and sell my '92YJ.
Update: 90 YJ starter dies in snow/ Triple AAA02 Jan 2006 17:55 GMT1
About a week or so ago I posted about my Jeep going over some deep snow and
the starter not working.  Here is the follow-up.
After the Jeep finally got to the garage (and the separate post about the
triple A story, how it took all all to get the jeep 14 miles).
Wishing everyone Happy New Years!02 Jan 2006 06:01 GMT5
We are off bush running in the morning so I hope everyone has a safe and
Happy New Years!
The conditions are strange with some snow and a pile of ice.  We aren't
sure if we have a hunt camp this year to use or if we can even get to
well that worked like a charm :/02 Jan 2006 05:18 GMT9
note: if you have to glue up the plastic fiddly bits
JB weld will not hold on some plastics.  Generally I get
good results with the stuff, but not this time.
Tried a bit on the AC knob and it hardens well, just doesn't

'76 CJ-7 Axle Conversion??!!01 Jan 2006 21:24 GMT15
Okay, first things first: Don't kill me for asking:)
Now...  I want to do an axle conversion and need some advice on what to
swap (Dana 30 frt/AMC 20 Rr, 11" drums).  I've done a lot of searching and
scrounging but can't find the right axles.  A friend in a tranny shop
Cherokee 2-Way Radio Mounting Ideas?01 Jan 2006 21:06 GMT3
As with most newer vehicles that have so much plastic in and around
the dash, my 99 Cherokee Sport seems to have some limitations
regarding the secure mounting of mobile radio gear. Other than the
passenger side of the transmission console, I really have not seen
what do people think of this?01 Jan 2006 17:58 GMT3
I've always dreamed of shoehorning a 5.9 into an xj, but with this thing you
wouldn't need too, almost xj tough looks with a killer motor, but how would
it do on the trail? http://www.fast-autos.net/jeep/jeepsrt8.html

snow. The jack is inflated via a hose that connects to your tailpipe – when the
engine is started, the jack inflates. We distribute the Bushranger X Jack, which is

I've got a Cherokee (2001 - X reg) which has the spare wheel mounted in the

I want to make more room in the boot (for trips away) and was considering
