I have a 86 Jeep J-10 with only 44,000 miles . It's had clunk in the rear diff. ever since I got it new but I didn't think the "mechanics" at the dealer were capable of fixing it and I didn't have time to take it elsewhere so I lived with it. They did replace the axles. I finally

My 88 Jeep Wrangler sometimes blows black smoke when started. The smoke leaves a wet mark on the driveway that looks like someone took a spray can and lightly sprayed the area under the tailpipe. The smoke usually disipates rather qickly. From what I have researched, it is

Just bought my first Jeep. Drove it back today. 170 highway miles. The wind hitting the vehicle was so loud that I could not hear the cellular phone ring. Also conversation needed to be at a yell. The only way I could take this kind of noise on a long trip would be with ear plugs ...
