Leaf spring centering pins22 Feb 2006 01:53 GMT4
WHen I did my 2.5 RE lift on my YJ I added shims to the rear. The shims
had holes in them.
When you add shims do you need to use longer leaf centering pins so the
pins go through the shim and into the spring plate?

I finally got my 90 YJ home. The guy I bought it from said that it is
running really rough because of the carberetor needing some serious therapy,
so it wound up binking out on me not to far from his place. The choke was
closed tight, so I tied it open to get home and it ran smooth ...

I have a 1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo with the in-line 6 and
auto-transmission.  I have been fighting a hard starting problem as

'61 Kaiser Willys CJ5. Previous owner installed an Olds Fireball V6,
thinks it came from a '64. It is an Oddfire, suspect 198ci because it
has the Rochester Monojet instead of the 2bbl as is found on the ...

My '98 Jeep Cherokee Sport 6cyl Auto trans has 160k with no engine or
tranny repairs done.  The radiator and water pump were replaced at
120k.  Maintenance has consisted of one set of plugs, one rear end
fluid change, oil changes at 7-12k intervals, two tranny fluid changes

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee which has a varilok rear diff bad.
The unit is under extended warranty, and has been ordered since DEC 21 2005.
Three times already the part has been promised, and the ship date
rescheduled.
