WHen I did my 2.5 RE lift on my YJ I added shims to the rear. The shims had holes in them. When you add shims do you need to use longer leaf centering pins so the pins go through the shim and into the spring plate?

I finally got my 90 YJ home. The guy I bought it from said that it is running really rough because of the carberetor needing some serious therapy, so it wound up binking out on me not to far from his place. The choke was closed tight, so I tied it open to get home and it ran smooth ...

My '98 Jeep Cherokee Sport 6cyl Auto trans has 160k with no engine or tranny repairs done. The radiator and water pump were replaced at 120k. Maintenance has consisted of one set of plugs, one rear end fluid change, oil changes at 7-12k intervals, two tranny fluid changes
