Axle question09 Feb 2006 01:02 GMT4
Hi,
Is a 1-ton arbor press enough to press-fit the bearing and retainer
ring on a axle shaft without too much trouble?
If not, what would be enough?  A 2-ton arbor?  A 12-ton hydraulic?

TPS Problem?08 Feb 2006 22:09 GMT3
Today the Check Engine light came on and the auto trans will not come out
of 1st gear on my 94 Cherokee with a 4.0. I checked the codes and got a
code 24, TPS sensor. Anyone know if the TPS sensor crapping out would cause
this? Thanks for any info!
rubber window trim08 Feb 2006 17:29 GMT2
My '88 Grand Wagon's trim at the bottom of the side windows is dry, cracked,
and chipped. It's especially a bother when you have the driver's window down
with your arm on the window, as it scratches you. Has anyone seen
replacements for sale anywhere?,

I have a stock 98 Wrangler with 31x10.5 that my wife went off the road in

2004 GC brake problem/warranty?07 Feb 2006 14:48 GMT7
A friend who has one that is about a year and a half old started having
pulsating brakes about a month or so ago. The dealer said that part of the

ended up talking with a "ditsy-sounding girl" who said brakes ...

Skid plate on '89 YJ07 Feb 2006 07:13 GMT19
I have to drop the large skid plate covering the tranny
to do some exhaust work. Do the six large bolts go
into the frame, or are there nuts and washers
involved?
