Ok well after what I was hoping to be a completely problem free weekend trip with the ZJ, It NOW has a problem... well it has slightly had this as an intermittent problem for awhile but this weekend it seemed to happen all the time.

Whats the best way to change one of these? I have a 76-cj5 and the shift lever moves considerably when the engine is under a load. I was just wondering how to support things while the skid plate is removed..doesnt it hold the tranny and TC up?

well thanks to all for their help last week with my starting problems - they did apparently all relate to the choke not functioning properly on account of a bad vacuum line to the pull-off... that was corrected, however i found myself still having non-starts unless the motor was
