| Gc replace mirror glass | 05 Apr 2006 03:29 GMT | 4 |
I busted my side mirror glass. I found 5013-636AA which appears to be the glass only for around $65. Seems a little steep (that is an online price). Are there any other alternatives that will look half way decent?

| 02 4.0 Main Seal Leak? | 05 Apr 2006 02:14 GMT | 12 |
My 02 TJ developed a leaky main seal after the Oil pan had to be replaced due to a mishap with a rock. I just had the dealer repair the leak and the next day it is leaking again. I have heard rummers that once the 4.0 starts leaking, it never stops.

| 85 Scrambler Problem-no tail/brake lights | 04 Apr 2006 16:19 GMT | 6 |
Help please. My 85 Scrambler, which I just purchased, has no running tail lights or no brake lights even though the headlights, and front and rear turn signals do work. The interior dash lights do not work either, but I assume replacing the head light switch will fix that

What is the best engine transmission combo and from what donor vehicle should it be from for a CJ. Should I plan on keeping the Dana 300 and adapt it to the donors transmission? I would like a nice reliable daily driver with around 250hp from a small block and would like to do it ...

| Steering, too much play | 04 Apr 2006 15:02 GMT | 2 |
I have a 94 YJ with manual steering that has about 6 inches of play in the steering. I never really notice how much play I had until recently. The Jeep just seems to wonder more than usual when on the road. Also sometimes after a long sweeping curve the steering wheel almost ...

Has anyone ever installed an overhead console from a Grand Cherokee in a regular (real) Cherokee? I decided to bite the bullet and get a new engine put in my 96 Cherokee (the original 4.0 six developed a rod knock after only 300,000 miles),

Wondered if anyone out there had ever swapped out an AX15 manual trans for a factory automatic trans in a YJ. Seems easy, almost a bolt-in in thought, but haven't heard of anyone doing it (with the stock engine). Only online article I could find was to swpaa in a GM 700r.

While driving straight (no turns), I heard a grinding noise. I was able to feel the vibration and it felt as if it was coming from between the engine and the driveshaft. I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I was traveling about 40 mph and when I gave it more gas, the grinding ...
