new tires !!24 Apr 2006 16:51 GMT24
original tires had to be replaced so I had the opportunity to get BFG
TA/KO's.  31".  Wow, what a difference they make.  Jeep should have been
using these tires as original equipment.  I thought I needed new shocks and
probably front end work.  It was all the tires.
1996 Grand Cherokee Jeep Rear hatch latch broken24 Apr 2006 13:55 GMT2
The latch to the rear hatch is broken and the hatch will not lift up.
The window part still operates fine, but the main door/hatch will not.
The latch seems to have a broken rod or something inside.  Can't access
all the panel screws as most are in the door jam.  Only four screws

Today I took my TJ out for a ride around the neighborhood and to a friend's

leaking fluid.  I'd been adjusting my pinion angle a while ago and at the
angle its at the shocks are squeezed into the bottom coil ...

Pilot bearing24 Apr 2006 02:43 GMT1
Anyone know of hand if a 258 from a "mid 70's Wagoneer" that originally
had an automatic trans behind it will be suitable for use with a Jee
T-4 manual transmission?  In other words, will there be a "recess" in
the rear of the crank that a pilot bearing can be installed in?

When I have my heater or A/C on, no matter what setting I have it on, I

When I put the 'slider' on the dash vent setting, i only get air coming
from the floor vent and the side window defroster vents, but ...

2nd gear. The code P0700 indicated transmission control module fault
code.
Another use for WD-4023 Apr 2006 16:14 GMT36
Well I found another use for WD-40, It can help find vacuum leaks on
engines.  I gave it shot after reading about a boater using it on his
mercruser to find a vac. leak.  Now the 307 in my parents 89 chevy wagon
purrs like a kitten again.
