This evening the release button and the spring underneath it popped off
the end of the emergency brake lever. Problem is, it popped off as I
was setting the brake. Now, I don't have a way to release the brake!

I just added a '97 ZJ tsi to my collection of Jeeps.  (That's a Grand
Cherokee to you, Bill.)  ;)  It's fairly well set up with 3 1/2" lift,
skidplates, ARB front bumper with winch, Confer rack, etc.
Unfortunately, the previous owner installed 18" fancy chrome wheels and

hey yall...i have a 97 grand cherokee ltd with 8 cyl...funny thing my
headlights and dashlights aren't working...anyone know of this?
sometimes when i put the headlight switch in auto mode and turn a
blinker on or hit the brakes the dash lights go crazy,plus when i sh.t

Well, I'm trying.... I'm shifting below 2500 rpm on my TJ 2.5L, and my last
mileage check showed 19.06mpg.

When replacing the exhaust system and the CatCon on a 96 Cherokee Sport
(6 CYL, 4WD, 101K Miles), does it make any sense to replace the header
pipe at the same time, even if it looks OK?
A local muffler shop says if it needs to be replaced, it will cost
