Old Jeep drivers beware!21 May 2006 05:39 GMT38
The story has been going around in Studebaker circles for quite a while

now Hot Rod magazine has a story about it.
Bob Palma with the SDC put it like this...

OK I gurss I didn't state the facts correctly. We do not have any
brakes in our jeep. We have changed hoses, mc, p. valve, booster,
bleeding between each component change. We have been working on this
issue for many moths now and don't seem to be getting anywhere. we get
88 xj Choking21 May 2006 01:56 GMT17
I've got an 88 XJ and it seems like its choking at normal driving
conditions. It seems to do it when you go to accelerate, going up an
incline or when towing. This problem started about a month ago and
I've replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel regulator in the
1979 Jepp j10 brake problems20 May 2006 22:58 GMT5
We have tried everything we can think of to no avail or brakes either.
Are there any common problems we may be over looking? I can say that
the pedal seems OK until the right rear bleeder is opened. Please any
help would be great. Sue
Newbie 31" Questions20 May 2006 19:11 GMT13
I mostly lurk here and pickup what I can about my Jeep—but “cars” are not my
strong suite and I'm more of a “gear head” when it comes to computers.  So,
my 2003 Wrangler Sport is, basically, stock and came with the 30" GSAs—but
one of these tires is wearing poorly, even with good ...

'93 GC Fog Lamp Wiring20 May 2006 06:14 GMT9
I have been trying to decipher the fog lamp wiring diagram for my '93

It shows (With Baja Group.)  I have looked through all the brochures I

...and several others over the years who have posted on the Jeep
Wrangler fan motor only running at high speed.  I have a 2004 Wrangler
Sport, under warrantee still, but after the low speed died, I could not
find the time to drop the vehicle off to the local dealer - yesterday
Detroit EZ Locker or Powertrax Lockright locker?20 May 2006 01:21 GMT15
Hi all, probably been asked this a thousand times but I'm thinking of buying
a locker, don't want the expense or bother of a locker that replaces the
diff carrier, just something like the Detroit EZ locker or Powertrax
Lockright, either of these any good? or am I asking for ...

I was checking out kbb.com's awesome used car comparator, and stumbled upon
this interesting piece of information.
The 2005 TJ has a 93.4" wheel base and a turning radius of 36.7'.
My 2005 TJ Unlimited has a 103.4" wheel base and a turning radius of 36.0'.
XJ with AT stuck in high gear19 May 2006 01:51 GMT13
Dear Body of Jeep Knowledge,
My beloved '96 Cherokee with automatic transmission gets "stuck" in 3rd or
4th gear.  I'm hoping this is an electrical problem rather than a
transmission problem because if I put the shifter in 1·2, it properly starts
