Is there any specifications for vacuum readings for the 258 engine. To look for vacuum leaks can you just check the general vacuum readings and if they are not right then look for problems? I have an 85 cj-7 which runs rough and stalls. All new ignition components, fuel filter, ...

My check engine light was on. i had it checked out and it was a bad o2 sensor.i replaced both of my o2 sensors but my check engine light remains on. What else can i do? Any reply is very helpful and appreciated.

OK! I know everyone is thinking idle tubes...but wait! Here is what is happening: Had a coolant leak and it was a busted head bolt. Got that problem fix and then did the Nutter bypass. All was well and good for 2 weeks.
