Hi Folk,
The pastic end (connecting to the Thortle Body) of the cruise control cable
was broken while maintaining speed when climbing a slope at the freeway.
Is the cable alone replaceable or I need to replace the whole cruise control

AMC 360 valve covers-different ones?09 May 2006 03:24 GMT6
I'm wanna put some new valve covers on my 360, but in looking, at least on
www.summitracing.com it says that the Edelbrock and Offys only go up to 1978
or 1979.  Mine is from an '82 Wagoneer.  D'ya think those'll work, or do the
bolts line up differently or something?
Learning Recreation Vehicle the easy way08 May 2006 20:20 GMT2
A minimal RV typically contains beds, a table, food preparation and
storage areas. Larger models add full bathrooms, refrigerators, living
areas, master bedrooms, etc. Some RVs are very elaborate, with
satellite TV and internet access, slide-out sections, and awnings; many
Road Trip!08 May 2006 18:48 GMT9
Just got back from a GREAT road trip in my little old Jeep Cherokee.
Took off from work (near Raleigh-Durham Airport in NC) last Thursday
afternoon and headed west. As is my habit when not in a big hurry I
spent a lot of time on the old US highways and got to St. Louis early
Counting Jeeps Board08 May 2006 16:05 GMT4
Well, the past 3 weeks I have been counting TJs, CJs etc going to work.
Yeh, I know but it beats counting how many people are picking their noses.
Any how, I drive 28 miles one way and the average per day is 17 jeeps on a
round trip.  Here in southern MD it seems we have a fair ...

$108.
2) My jeep still has the original battery. It is 6 years old. The car
YJ front axle sound08 May 2006 14:16 GMT6
My 95 YJ makes a knocking sound at the right front wheel.  By turning
the hub by hand with the wheel off I can see the axle jumps a bit every
so often and makes this noise.  This is with the wheels pointed
straight ahead.  Could this be a problem with the front axle disconnect

GC2001 - rear lift gate - small door08 May 2006 01:03 GMT1
On the inside of our 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee lift gate
there is a small plastic door/panel that pops off -
It's about the size of a post-it note.
Question is - why is it there, and what's behind it ?
Oops07 May 2006 20:37 GMT105
I made a big boo-boo.
Last night the wifey and I were talking Jeeps, and I mentioned in passing
that the 07 Wrangler would be a redesign, with a 4-door version, with
seating for five. She seemed mildly interested.
Front End Squeek 97 Grand Cherokee07 May 2006 14:39 GMT1
When I turn a corner in my 97 Laredo Grand Cherokee there is a
squeaking sound in the front end. It only does it when turning right
or left. Seems to be louder when the weather is cold.( I'm in Ohio) It
doesn't make noise when going straight. I have had a couple of people
