AC Compressor or Alternator?11 Jul 2006 03:45 GMT1
Yesterday I had a  strange noise comming from around the A/C clutch,
sounds like it could be a bearing going out on the pully (noise goes
away when clutch engages), now today went to run an errand and it would
not start, after finally getting it to start, would not stay running,

it up all the way around. The fuel filter is my next concern. Where is
it located??? Can't seem the find it. Do I need to install an inline

people including myself was wondering if this would be a quick and fun

At one time, Holley Carburetors (Colt Industries) were involved in LPG
carburetion and modified their gasoline carburetors to supply gaseous
fuel.  Very little is commonly known about Holley's propane carburetors
Gray fender flares.. seeing is believing 09 Jul 2006 22:15 GMT13
I was googling the groups as of late, trying to figure out how to get my
fender flares black again.  I saw the posts about using a heat gun, and with
a little hesitation tried it out.
Wow!  I'm a believer now.  Whoever came up with the idea.. I'll buy ya a
machine gun back firing - no power09 Jul 2006 17:55 GMT7
Over the past 7-10 days I have been loosing power with my '83 258 engine to
the point where it is difficult to drive and keep running.  It feels like I
am pulling a trailer, and I am getting rapid machine gun style backfiring
through the muffler when I get around 2000 RPM.   It ...
Dana 30 front wheel bearings09 Jul 2006 16:13 GMT20
'73 CJ-5, Dana 30 front-end... got the wheel bearings from AutoZone (2
per wheel, an inner and an outer).  They have them listed as the same,
but the race for the outer is sloppy in the hub.  The hub obviously
hasn't been "wallered out" (as these local Tennesseans would say) but

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, I-6, close to 150K miles.
It cranks sluggishly.  It actually starts ok because it's firing up on
what may be the first rev but it's really slow sounding.  Battery was
about 30 months old.  Spec. gravity thingy with the floating balls said

Hard StartingII08 Jul 2006 15:59 GMT2
Just to follow up:  I never got around to doing anything
myself, but after the oil change Clementine sat for 4 days
