Jeep Liberty Steering Moan08 Jul 2006 13:29 GMT3
I had taken my 2004 Jeep Liberty Renegade off roading this weekend, and
it has since developed a moaning when I make "tight" turns - 90 degree
plus turns from a stop, while accelerating.  No noise when the car is
moving at a decent speed (15mph+)  I checked the power steering fluid ...
Check engine light08 Jul 2006 10:12 GMT8
How do I turn off the check engine light? The car won't pass inspection
with it on. I tried disconnecting the battery but nothing happened. I
found some check engine code readers/erasers on EBay here

rear differential08 Jul 2006 06:05 GMT3
I have been working on a 1984 CJ-7 and thought I would drain the
transmission, transfer case and differentials while I was waiting for
some parts to arrive.
I was surprised that there was no drain or fill plug on the rear
1990 jeep yj07 Jul 2006 09:10 GMT5
I have a 1990 jeep yj with a 5 speed transmisson.  After you drive it
for a period of time, when you stop, you can't get it to go into 1st
gear.  No grinding, it just won't move.  If you let it roll a little,
it will go into gear.  Once you are moving, there is no problem
Wagoneer Engine Replacement Choices ?07 Jul 2006 04:51 GMT25
So I need some more ...hummph ... power in the Wagoneer, as it only has 144
hp which is about 50% of enough.
Any recommendations ? Presumably the Mopar crate engines would bolt up
straight to the Chrysler Torqueflite 727 ? Novak doesn't seem to have any
4.0L vs. 3.7L07 Jul 2006 01:03 GMT32
Have just found out that the '07 Wranglers will have the 3.7L and not
the 4.0L inline 6... Can someone confirm this and if so, what are your
thoughts?  Any Liberty owners think this is a better engine?  I have an
01 XJ and think the 4.0L is great for my uses.  I just can't imagine ...

Jeep add on parts?06 Jul 2006 15:19 GMT3
Hi.  I am about to sell my 91 YJ (actually give, to a grandson) and am
trying to deside between a 98 Sahara-38,000 miles, and a 02
Sahara-48,000 miles.  Not a "big" difference in price. (probably go for
the newer--98 is green-02 cranberry?..lol)
'92 Side Mirror Mounting Bracket06 Jul 2006 14:36 GMT1
Found my side view mirror on driver's side of '92 Cherokee hanging, looks
like the mounting bracket that attaches to the door is broken. Has anyone
done this repair before? What about a new vs used bracket? Can I even get a
used bracket?
Oil Independence Day 200606 Jul 2006 06:49 GMT36
High gas prices have created a new group of people -
"pump grumblers."
When pumping our high priced gas, we grumble words of
resentment, while feeling powerless. We need gas, so
Why we get harsh with Bill06 Jul 2006 04:02 GMT17
He says the same load of nonsense over and over.
He hates Diesel, because of the truckers. Now I could give a sh.t
about truckers. Owner operator truckers are what killed the railroads,
which are how freight should go, the fuel per ton mile is about a
