How do I turn off the check engine light? The car won't pass inspection with it on. I tried disconnecting the battery but nothing happened. I found some check engine code readers/erasers on EBay here http://stores.ebay.com/OneSmartMove

I have been working on a 1984 CJ-7 and thought I would drain the transmission, transfer case and differentials while I was waiting for some parts to arrive. I was surprised that there was no drain or fill plug on the rear

| 1990 jeep yj | 07 Jul 2006 09:10 GMT | 5 |
I have a 1990 jeep yj with a 5 speed transmisson. After you drive it for a period of time, when you stop, you can't get it to go into 1st gear. No grinding, it just won't move. If you let it roll a little, it will go into gear. Once you are moving, there is no problem

Have just found out that the '07 Wranglers will have the 3.7L and not the 4.0L inline 6... Can someone confirm this and if so, what are your thoughts? Any Liberty owners think this is a better engine? I have an 01 XJ and think the 4.0L is great for my uses. I just can't imagine ...

Hi. I am about to sell my 91 YJ (actually give, to a grandson) and am trying to deside between a 98 Sahara-38,000 miles, and a 02 Sahara-48,000 miles. Not a "big" difference in price. (probably go for the newer--98 is green-02 cranberry?..lol)

Found my side view mirror on driver's side of '92 Cherokee hanging, looks like the mounting bracket that attaches to the door is broken. Has anyone done this repair before? What about a new vs used bracket? Can I even get a used bracket?

High gas prices have created a new group of people - "pump grumblers." When pumping our high priced gas, we grumble words of resentment, while feeling powerless. We need gas, so
