Fuel pump on 85 GW29 Jul 2006 14:35 GMT16
This may be a stupid question. I am getting around to doing a little work on
the truck (85 Grand Wagoneer).
I replaced the starter. Not a big deal. Easy to get to but a "dirty job".
Fixed the tailgate window motor. Then recharged the air conditioner. Gas was

Attaching Mopar Accessories28 Jul 2006 03:31 GMT5
I am a first time TJ owner and ordered two front tow hooks and a hitch
from the dealer.  I found out after the fact that they charge $79 bucks
an hour to install.  He said it would take three hours to do this...
does that sound right?  If not, about how long should it take?  Is this

wires attached to it.   This part has become detatched and can slide up
and down the link.
NP 242 J rebuild questions - was 95 XJ growl at 40 + mph28 Jul 2006 00:51 GMT2
OK this was the thread about the growling 95 XJ.
I have gotten to the point where the front drive shaft is removed and the
transfer case noise is gone.
If I rotate the front drive shaft yoke by hand the bearing seems ok, but
ECT/ Intake air sensor is it one in the same?28 Jul 2006 00:40 GMT3
I have this borken sensor on the back of the head, near that back on
the drivers side. There is a connector on it with a single yellow wire.
Is that the intake air sensor? And if not what is  it.
A VID FOR BILL'S d35 PAGE27 Jul 2006 21:51 GMT5
I snapped my d35 this weekend past...although the way the rock was wedged in
between the wheel and frame stopping the wheel from turning I would imagine
that any axle would have snapped...

Hitch for '89 YJ27 Jul 2006 03:55 GMT7
Folks, I have a 1989 Wrangler. I would like to add a class III hitch to
the rear. The bumper is flush with the tailgate and there are two oval
shaped things attached to it on each side of the spare tire -
presumably to act as bumper/shock absorbers in the event of a hit.

My recent experience with Amsoil26 Jul 2006 14:36 GMT26
A few weeks ago I bought a modified D***e pickup. Yesterday, I went
over down the way to an Amsoil dealer and got some of the hypoid gear
oil and transmission gear oil products and changed out the oil in the
(probably stock) rear end and the Clark 5 speed transmission. I drove
Fuel pump runs continuously- 92 Jeep Cherokee26 Jul 2006 13:42 GMT2
Anyone know what would cause my fuel pump to run what seems like, from
the sound, continuously wide open? When I start the jeep I can normally
hear it for a second or 2 while it comes up to pressure then it runs
quietly.  When it is acting up I hear the loud noise continuously.  The
