Temperture Rising on '96 GC 4.0 w/167k19 Jul 2006 14:35 GMT3
Lately the temperature gauge as been climbing to roughly 230f, usually
stays @ 210f. This happens when I climb a hill, this is city and highway
driving only. I thought that the belt might be slipping, so I changed that
and the fan clutch was replaced a couple of years ago along ...

I have had the jeep for about 3 months.  The other day I tried to use the AC,
and the blower didn't blow.  So I consulted the Haynes book and am a bit confused:
pg 3-11 step 4/5:  "connect a voltmeter... move the blower switch ... Change in
voltage indicates the motor speeds will ...

I have an 84 cj-7 and i dont know a lot about them... but i've done
pretty well restoring it from its previous condition of scarecrow in a
field.. anyways i have replaced the carb/spark plugs/spark plug wires/
fuel filter/ air filter... but i have a continuous muffled backfire...

I have a 1991 Jeep Wrangler. I am in process of swapping out the
engine. I was told that the engine I purchased was a 91 4.0L from a
Cherokee. It is 4.0L and everything looked great, until the sleeve for
my pilot bearing would not fit the new cherokee pilot bearing hole.

I have an 87 Wrangler 4.2L I6 258 man. trans with the Carter BBD carb.
I recently replaced the exhaust manifold and replaced both the intake
and exhaust manifold gaskets.  I also rebuilt the carb. even though it
was working fine, figured at 19 yrs old it was time.  Upon completion I

I am changing the A/C compressor on my Jeep GC 5.2. I have tried
finding the orifice tube that is supposed to be in the lines. However,
I have taken them all loose and cannot find one. Doe the 94 Grand

My transmission is leaking i noticed this when i seen smoke from the back
of my jeep it looks like its leaking from the bellhouseing i see it drip
from inside the bellhouse cover and on to the exhaust would this be a
front seal if so how much does a transmission shop charge usually ...

before.  Lately, I can only do about 300kms on a full tank.  I am

I just bought a 65th Anniversary Edition Wrangler and it has the
"Forged Aluminum Wheels" on it. I am curious about the BEST way to care
for these wheels. I have had it about 10 days and am already
experiencing a great amount of brake dust on the front two wheels. Any

Hey all,
looking for ideas on where to mount a cd changer in an 01 cherokee.
Right now i'm thinking either under the drivers seat or under the rear
seat.  anyone with a cherokee got a changer and use either of these

It seems like a good deal.  The price started out as below invoice.
Plus a $500 rebate, but I caught the dealer trying to add in a
destination charge twice.  Plus he told me he has to add a few other
small things.  All these little "fees".  One was $250 another $50.  I
