'85 CJ7 repair problem17 Jul 2006 17:27 GMT3
I discovered my jeep wouldn't start the other day... the battery was
dead.  When I tried to jump it, it wouldn't even turn over - but I
heard a lot of clicking and there was some smoking near the starter
solenoid on the inside fender, passenger side.  On closer inspection, I

I have a 99 TJ and the parking brake does not hold at all. I have
crawled underneath and can see the cabling. Haven't had the jeep for
long, but really need to get the brake working for safety reasons. Is
there an adjustment I can make so that the parking brake engages

too hot to be outside today, so one thing I wanted to do was update all

More clutch problems16 Jul 2006 17:18 GMT5
I recently asked about a problem with a 1990 jeep yj that won't go into
gear when it gets hot.  We all agreed it was the slave cylinder.  Now,
after a new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, slave cylinder,
and shim the flywheel, it still does it.  This was all done by a

I posted last week about my 97 Wrangler 4.0 AT not starting and I'm still
trouble-shooting.  My current question is "what controls the fuel pump's
pressurization cycle?"  On my jeep, the fuel pump is running constantly
when the ignition is in the "on" position, rather than ...

A/C and heater dials quit working 99 Jeep Wrangler Sport16 Jul 2006 15:12 GMT1
I am trying to determine if I have a big problem or a small problem on
my hands.  A couple days ago I would have the A/C on and it would just
quit - I'd give it a little "love tap" and it would come back on.  Well
that is no longer working.  The only dial that seems to respond is ...
Yup, another '98 TJ with no A\C16 Jul 2006 03:56 GMT12
Hey all,
I've been reading the MANY posts and sites about TJ's and air conditioning
problems, but didn't find a definite answer to my symptoms.  I hope to hell
it's not the evaporator.
'96 JGC OEM radio repair/replace advice?16 Jul 2006 03:43 GMT3
My original JGC w/175K still looks and runs very well.  However, my FM tuner
portion of the stock Infinity sound system doesn't receive any longer.  The
AM, CD and TAPE still work just fine.  If I repeatedly press the AM/FM
button in/out/in/out (a lot) I can usually get it to work ...
