| Faulty Fuel Reading | 16 Jul 2006 00:25 GMT | 1 |
I've noticed there's been a lot mentioned about faulty fuel gauges on Jeeps, but I couldn't seem to find what I was looking for in the archives. In my '89 YJ my fuel gauge reads ¼ tank when it's about empty and way over full when I top it off. Anybody out there seen this

| 76 CJ5 | 15 Jul 2006 19:41 GMT | 25 |
I'm looking at a 76 CJ5 for real cheap. It's got the AMC 304. It has some new parts and apparently runs well. The carb has been 'upgraded' to a holley 2bbl. It will need a starter, exhaust, and a wiring harness. The wiring harness is the big ? for me, since I don't know how bad ...

| Gauges & Electric Windows on the Blink: Solution? -JGC- | 15 Jul 2006 15:27 GMT | 3 |
Based on the manual, doesn't seem to be a directory for a specific fuse accounting for this. Check all the fuses anyway, they all are fine. Plus...when it first started happening, I would give the top of the dash on the drivers side a good "smack" and presto, the might pop on.

I recently bought a 1978 CJ7 to restore. I noticed the brake light in the speedometer cluster stays on. Whats this telling me? The parking brake is "engaged"?.... there are brake issues with the vehicle?... or both.

| 2006 Liberty Sport Window Tint | 15 Jul 2006 01:41 GMT | 4 |
I noticed that while looking at some of the 2006 Libertys (3.7 gas engines) with part time 4x4, the window stickers at the dealers indicated that the very rear side windows and the rear gate window were tinted. The very rear window on each side did not look tinted--- before I ask ...
