As you were so helpful with my last questions I was hoping that someone could shed some light on two further problems I have found withg my Jeep. 1) The airvents that blow warm or cold air into the cab seem to close at 3000 revs and above for some bizarre reason. Also when I ...

| 1997 grand cherokee (zj) brake, e-brake questions | 31 Aug 2006 14:55 GMT | 5 |
I replaced rear pads and discs on my zj, which actually turned out much easier than I had thought. In the process, I got to see that on one side there was no braking shoe lining left at all (e-brake shoes inside the disc), on the other side

| Spare Key Awakening | 31 Aug 2006 14:45 GMT | 20 |
I'm the guy that ran the wheels off a 93 Grand Cherokee. Lots of help from this newsgroup helped me to put 277,000 safe and fun miles on it. I traded (nearly gave) it to a local used car dealer for a 2002 Grand Cherokee Laredo with some very nice options, such as a Limited interior

| Jeep Grand Cherokee new owner questions | 30 Aug 2006 18:53 GMT | 2 |
I'm relatively new Jeep Grand Cherokee (-02) owner, and I'd appreciate if some one could advise me in couple of my concerns. 1) When performing tight turnings (with slow speed e.g.), I can hear some strange voice from the back tires. Some of the "specialists" say

| Aux fan cycling and no air conditioning | 30 Aug 2006 14:32 GMT | 2 |
Hi all I have a '97 xj sport 4.0L and the air conditioning only seems to work when the engine is cold. The aux fan kicks in right away but once the Jeep warms up, the fan will cycle on and off (mostly off). Say over the course of a minute the fan will kick on about twenty times

My lighter socket is having connection problems. I'm assuming some sort of oxidation of the hot tip is playing a role. Has anyone replaced one? I'm able to turn it in circles, but can't figure out how to remove it from it's dash unit.
