Mystery Problem Changed Symptons.....31 Aug 2006 22:54 GMT4
'91 Wrangler with a 4.0
Had some trouble about two weeks ago with cutting out as I was driving
down the road.  Changed the Crank Position Sensor, and it worked fine
for a couple days, then cut out once more, waited 10 seconds then it
1996 Cherokee Questions.31 Aug 2006 19:00 GMT4
As you were so helpful with my last questions I was hoping that someone
could shed some light on two further problems I have found withg my Jeep.
1) The airvents that blow warm or cold air into the cab seem to close at
3000 revs and above for some bizarre reason. Also when I ...

Locking gas cap broken31 Aug 2006 15:38 GMT8

How does the gas cap come off if the locking
mechanism is broken?
I can insert the key and turn but when turning the cap
1997 grand cherokee (zj) brake, e-brake questions31 Aug 2006 14:55 GMT5
I replaced rear pads and discs on my zj, which actually turned out much
easier than I had thought.
In the process, I got to see that on one side there was no braking shoe
lining left at all (e-brake shoes inside the disc), on the other side
Spare Key Awakening31 Aug 2006 14:45 GMT20
I'm the guy that ran the wheels off a 93 Grand Cherokee. Lots of help from
this newsgroup helped me to put 277,000 safe and fun miles on it.
I traded (nearly gave) it to  a local used car dealer for a 2002 Grand
Cherokee Laredo with some very nice options, such as a Limited interior

OK i'm trying to send pics to the group from my last post about my first
trophy.
Now i lool like a trolling fool if this won't work!
It seems OE won't allow attachments to a newsgroup perhaps?

98 Wrangler condensate problem31 Aug 2006 02:04 GMT10
Just bought a 98 Wrangler SE. After running the A/C for awhile, the
floor on the passenger side, under the carpet, is wet. The hose that
exits the unit under the hood is visible and dripping condensate they
way it's designed.
99 Jeep Cherokee31 Aug 2006 01:26 GMT2
Went out to start my Jeep the other day and it wouldn't turn over.  All I
got was a loud clicking sound.  Figured it was the selonoid or starter.
Replaced that and still nothing.  Replaced th relay by passenger side and
checked fuses.  Now It won't start and the radio won't work ...
1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Tempermental FM Radio Reception30 Aug 2006 22:36 GMT4
I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The first chrysler/jeep radio which
was an AM/FM cassette player worked well for awhile until the FM
station cut out and intermittently cut back in.  I subsequently
replaced it with another radio obtained from a used vehicle junk yard
Jeep Grand Cherokee new owner questions30 Aug 2006 18:53 GMT2
I'm relatively new Jeep Grand Cherokee (-02) owner, and I'd appreciate
if some one could advise me in couple of my concerns.
1) When performing tight turnings (with slow speed e.g.), I can hear
some strange voice from the back tires. Some of the "specialists" say
Aux fan cycling and no air conditioning30 Aug 2006 14:32 GMT2
Hi all I have a '97 xj sport 4.0L and the air conditioning only seems
to work when the engine is cold.  The aux fan kicks in right away but
once the Jeep warms up, the fan will cycle on and off (mostly off).
Say over the course of a minute the fan will kick on about twenty times
Replacing Lighter Socket? 2000 Jeep TJ30 Aug 2006 04:11 GMT11
My lighter socket is having connection problems.  I'm assuming some
sort of oxidation of the hot tip is playing a role.  Has anyone
replaced one?  I'm able to turn it in circles, but can't figure out how
to remove it from it's dash unit.
Fan switch30 Aug 2006 03:57 GMT1
Also on my '97 XJ sport 4.0L The fan went south the other day.  The fan
only works on high, not on the first three speeds.  I have been
searching and found something regarding  a fuse or some sort of relay
up under the dash around the glove compartment.  Does anyone know if
