Where's my HORN???26 Aug 2006 01:39 GMT30
OK, I have scoured my XJ (1992 Cherokee Laredo 4 door) and cannot
locate the
horn. NO, not the horn button on the steering wheel, the HORN - you
know,
Jeep stopped with AC on26 Aug 2006 01:38 GMT9
Last week, the service engine light was on. I went to Jeep and they
said "front pinion seal leaking" and "recommends BG induction service".
This happened when I put the AC on and the Jeep just stopped. I had to
turn the ignition on again.
Melted switches and connectors?!! 2000 Jeep TJ26 Aug 2006 00:06 GMT19
Three electrical connectors have melted in my 2000 Jeep TJ.
Specifically, the A/C Heater Control C1, C2 and Light Dimmer connector.

2008 Jeep Liberty photos25 Aug 2006 13:08 GMT14
Current Liberty styling will undergo a major change for '08.
There will be similarities with the current Dodge Nitro (being built
at the same factory as current Liberty's).
The Nitro will be the "on-road" version, giving Dodge customers a
Jeep Wrangler--back end slides out when turning25 Aug 2006 05:52 GMT19
I have a 94 Jeep Wrangler. Recently, I've noticed that when I turn, it
feels like my back end is sliding out--even when I'm cornering at slow
speeds on dry roads.
At first I thought I was just imagining it, but recently, when the
Throttle Body Cleaning On JGC V-825 Aug 2006 05:45 GMT15
I have a 1993 JGC that is starting to have a problem with rapid
throttle movement at slow speeds.  If you push on the gas too much,
then back off quickly, the engine will die.  The Jeep dealer said I
probably need to clean the throttle body.  They want $120.  It hasn't
New Jeep Cherokee Owner, Advice Please.25 Aug 2006 04:36 GMT10
I bought a Jeep Cherokee yesterday. I've never had a 4x4 before, I always
had hot hatches, but I woke up the other day and fancied a 4x4 - it must be
middle-age creeping up on me! Next I'll be wearing uni-sex jeans and having
a bonfire on a Sunday afternoon.
CAN protocol?24 Aug 2006 23:16 GMT6
My '97 ZJ (grand cherokee) has a stamp in the engine bay that reads "Made in
Cananda". Does this mean that it has a CAN protocol regarding a OBDII
scanner? I'm looking to purchase a scanner, and don't want to buy the wrong
one.
Intake24 Aug 2006 22:43 GMT1
98 Jeep Wrangler 4.0- So, I started out to replace the coupler gasket
on the exhaust  and found out that the exhaust manifold was cracked up
pretty bad and had some very bad welds from the previouse owners fix to
it. After pulling the intake I noticed that the #6 port was almost
A/C problem 96 GC24 Aug 2006 22:39 GMT1
My son's 96 Grand Cherokee is stuck with the A/C in the "hi-lo" mode.  Dash
controls have no effect.  I assume there is a vacuum actuator(s) which
operates a damper(s) buried in the dash. How hard is it to gain access?  Any
web sites that show how?  His Chilton manual is useless on ...
Correction on my earlier 2002 Wrangler post24 Aug 2006 18:10 GMT6
I need some help, reader.
A couple weeks ago, I posted that my fan was working on all 4 speed
positions, but that my a/c was working on the top two positions only.
This earlier post of mine was incorrect.  Actually, the fan is only

WJ front propeller/drive shaft24 Aug 2006 11:38 GMT7
My WJ started making a humming noise at speeds greater than
15 mph.  When this happened on my YJ, it was due to a worn ring

on both the front and rear difs as part of other maintenance
