| '88 Wrangler needs new 4.2L engine... | 30 Sep 2006 21:29 GMT | 2 |
I need to replace the 4.2L engine in my '88 wrangler and I was wondering if I could drop in an older 4.2L engine. I found a '78 4.2L, but I don't think they're interchangable. Does anyone have personal experience with this, or any advice?

The ball/socket joint on the driver's side of the wiper linkage on my 91 Cherokee popped off. Is there any little clip or part that holds it on? Is it just a press fit? Is there any solution other than a new linkage [$141 - $212]. Ouch!
