have an opportunity to pick up a 4.0 engine with under 50k for $500 - it comes out of an 88 cherokee and comes w/electronics, transfer case, AT, wheels, tires, etc etc basically everything minus the steering column and a few other bits i'm not interested in.

My 95 YJ takes more cranking to start than what seems normal. In a previous thread it was suggested to turn the key without cranking for a few seconds to allow the fuel pump to pressurize the system before cranking. When I try this I don't hear the pump working and no relay
