LT1 Heavily Modified Jeep For Sale24 Sep 2006 12:00 GMT6
All,
 I have a heavily modified Jeep for sale.  It's a YJ with a 94 LT1
engine in it.  It has the warn coil kit and more mods than you can
imagine.  I've done a full write up at:

'98 TJ 4.0L Manual
I've got an annoying rattle in my Cat converter at idle speed.  Thought
at first it might be the headers.  But with engine off, I can go down
under and bang on the Cat and clearly hear the rattle inside.  Is the

Battery for 90 XJ23 Sep 2006 22:29 GMT13
I am going to replace my battery soon and wondered if any of you had
any suggestions on a type or brand of battery that would be the best. I
do not do much off road and the only addition I have to my system is a
Boston Acoustics amplifier going directly to my battery
Vehicles Auction Seachs and Listings23 Sep 2006 18:42 GMT3
Every month, 1000s of cars become government property through seized
and foreclosure laws. Since there are so many cars in these government
auctions, and the enormous costs for storage, these cars must be sold
fast and cheap!
How Many Miles?23 Sep 2006 18:42 GMT67
I was talking with a guy at the collision shop in Ingalls and he was
tellin' me that the engine that is in my 98 Cherokee Sport was among
the best engines ever designed and has been around in various
iterations since the 60's. He lamented that Chrysler decided not to
'01 JGC weird tranny behavior...left turns only...23 Sep 2006 18:12 GMT5
My wife's 2001 6-cyl. GC 2WD 70K miles has erratic downshifting
behavior...but only when making left turns. It seems to lug or slip in 2nd
gear. Strangely, slow right turns are no problem whatsoever. Straight line
cruising is fine, and nice smooth shifts from 0 up through OD. ...
8 Slot Grill23 Sep 2006 18:09 GMT13
I saw a pre-1999 Grand Cherokee with an 8 slotted grill the other day. I
counted them several times and even followed the guy to make sure it was a
Grand Cherokee.
Is this some after market thing? Whay would anybody buy it? Has anyone ever
RTV23 Sep 2006 17:51 GMT10
I've got what may be, I hope, an easy question for your gearheads.....
How long does a tube of RTV stay good?
I have one tube that is still pliable that has been open for probably
several years and one still factory sealed.
Speaking of Blower Motor Resistors23 Sep 2006 17:34 GMT3
Hey all,
After both scouring this group and tracing wires in Muky for what seems
like weeks, I'm admitting defeat.
So, where the [bleep] is the resistor pack on a YJ? I have seen many,
2000 JGC 4x4 limited problem23 Sep 2006 04:31 GMT4
not exactly sure how to describe this problem but when I'm driving
around 20 - 30 mph it feels like something in the tranny or rear end is
momentarily seizing.  It doesn't cause the vehicle to stop or anything
it just jerks real quick then goes back to normal.   There isn't any

2003 TJ Blower Motor Resistor23 Sep 2006 01:22 GMT1
Hey Guys,
Thanks for responding to my earlier post about the heater blower motor speed
control failure.  It was the resistor and the thing is very well hidden
behind the large vent pipe that goes to the passenger side vent.  It helps
2000 XJ Won't Start23 Sep 2006 01:09 GMT9
A story first, sorry.  Went kayaking Sunday and left the XJ parked by
the creek with a half tank of gas. Paddled downstream a couple of hours
to the wife's 98 ZJ then came back to pick up the XJ.  Fuel gauge was on
empty and it wouldn't start. I assumed some bastard siphoned my ...
