It shows some guy trying to drive a small suv across a raging river

Oxygen sensor question11 Sep 2006 19:56 GMT8
The check engine light on my 96 Cherokee is on, and the code is calling
out the rear (after converter) oxygen sensor.
Auto Zone lists two sensors, both made by Bosch, one "O.E." type for
$120 and a universal type for $55.
'79 304 Edelbrock carb problems vs Holley carbs?11 Sep 2006 19:50 GMT26
My '79 CJ-5 304 seems to have fuel related problems.  It is difficult to
start when the engine is cold; it turns over fine, but takes too long for the
engine to start.  Once running, it emits gassy fumes out of the exhaust side-
pipes that make your clothes smell like gasoline while ...

Jeep-Classified.com Ripp-off?11 Sep 2006 08:09 GMT8
I advertised my exArmy CJ5 on Jeep-Classifieds.com and it is FREE until you
get offers. They you pay and talk to buyers - not. My buyer contacts were
phony and I suspect sent internally just to get me to pay up. Anyone any
experience of this? Advice on where to sell my CJ5. It's ...
Front Rotor Concern, 02 WJ11 Sep 2006 00:03 GMT16
I went down under to do my first oil change on my '02 Grand Cherokee and to
get acquainted with the underside. I noticed the inboard side of both front
brake rotors appear as if the disc pad is not contacting them completely.
There is some shine/wear around the outside, oh, 3/4 inch ...
1990 Wrangler Hard Top to soft switch10 Sep 2006 23:28 GMT1
Anyone every swappped out the hard top for a soft top on a 1990?  Any
thoughtful advice on steps to take and best equipment to use?  I
replaced the soft top on my 1997 without too much trouble - just that I
am spoiled without much expereince on the earlier models - my 1978 cj
O4 TJ Tranny Vent10 Sep 2006 06:19 GMT8
Well, last weeks tropical storm raised some cane in southern MD.  I had to

Many thanks to those who helped me find my horns! The horns are fine and it
turns out the relay was bad. I fixed it and now I can honk once again at
all
the idiots on these overcrowded California roads!!!

Oh boy... what fun. :)10 Sep 2006 00:01 GMT9
Just finished putting a new CV boot on my ZJ.
Not terribly hard, except for those three damn

What is supposed to be in the box?09 Sep 2006 23:32 GMT7
What is supposed to be in the box of an OME SD40 steering dampener?
All I got was the SD40, a pack of bolts for the right side connection,
and a sticker. Shouldn't it have a boot and a pack of bolts for the
tapered pin? It came without a castle nut and cotter pin.
Front seat cable broke09 Sep 2006 05:01 GMT3
Got a 2001 Jeep Wrangler. The lower cable that releases the front driver
seat so that it can be raised foward broke.
I would like to replace it but I can't figure out how to get to the section
that it's attached to. If it's not too complicated and not too much trouble
