A friend of mine told me that there was some sort of change to the XJ engine in '00, something to do with the emmisions system. Is this the case, and if so what are the implications / is it something to be concerned about? Looking at an '01 auto with 102k miles. Thanks

i have one steering stop bolt that has since left the building, so i rub at fullturn one way, other is fine....anyone know what size bolt this is? i know i need a nut to replace the welded on nut on the original part, but without taking the one bolt out...i'm going to try

On my way home from work today my gas peddle went flat to the floor. I looked under the hood, used some string to keep the ball and socket linkage together and babied it home. What came off, anyone know? Is there also a spring involved

The 4 way flashers on my '97 TJ don't work.....nothing, no clicking or anything else......I suspect the switch is at fault as in the past I have to wiggle it to get it to work and then I have to wiggle the same switch to get the signal lights to work again.

I need to replace the driver's bucket seat in my '93 Cherokee, but am having trouble finding a boneyard that has that specific model year seat. What model years are interchangeable in terms of the mounting hardware (bolt holes, pattern, mounts, etc.)?

All, This morning I noticed anti-freeze on the passenger side of my 97 jeep cherokee...I'm told it's the heater coil leaking behind the glove box...thank goodness I have rubber floor mats...can I replace this

The shop just called and said that either they replace the steering box, or I pick it up with a trailer. lol. So... who makes good, beefy, aftermarket steering boxes for the TJ? -jenn

My 94 Wrangler (4 cyl, 170,000 miles) started having problems with the 5-speed manual transmission. First I lost 5th gear, then it started seizing or locking up in reverse, and finally it started locking up in first also.

Aren't Wranglers historically always 4wd? Just started seeing commercials for the new 4 door Wrangler. At the end, in the disclaimer section, it says something about prices starting with two wheel drive version ...???
