Stupendous Man,

No fuel pressure on start up26 Oct 2006 18:39 GMT7
I have a '97 Grand Cherokee with the 5.2L V-8.  When the car sits for a while
(more than 4 hours or so) it starts very hard.  I have discovered that if I
cycle the key from off to on and let the fuel pump run and do this a few
times it starts right up.

My wife has a 2001 jeep grand cherokee.
We had the brakes done yesterday - new pads -
and now the emergency brake handle can hardly be pulled up.
I can do it, but my wife can barely lift the handle,

Fuel prices - What's coming out of YOUR wallet?24 Oct 2006 04:41 GMT41
Last night, got regular unleaded (87 oct) for $1.93 a gallon.
It's hard to believe that Diesel is still $2.54.
This means that the truck is sitting more than the jeep is these days.

Oil Pressure Hits Zero And Stays There- JGC '9624 Oct 2006 02:19 GMT108
CHECK GAUGES: Zero Oil Pressure reading-
First had this problem on my way back home, I  stuck in traffic, in the
middle of the summer.  It was a hot day, and I had been driving for 40
minutes.  I was at 4,000miles with  my oil, which is 5 part synthetic,
97 XJ radiator23 Oct 2006 18:09 GMT8
Replaced the water pump today, and noticed some grunge build upon the
radiator near the top hose. Can anybody recommend a replacement
radiator dealer for my 97 XJ w/air? Has anybody had experience with
Radiatorbarn.com?
Automotive Wiring Source23 Oct 2006 13:56 GMT3
Anybody know of a source to buy automotive wiring terminators and
color-coded, automotive wiring?
What I'm talking about is, inside the plastic connection housings, the
little metal wire ends that clip in to the connector.  I'd rather not just
ZJ vs. XJ - General Opinions and advice wanted22 Oct 2006 22:48 GMT13
I'm a long time YJ owner, and need something bigger. I've been looking
around at 4.0L ZJs and XJs . Most everything in my price range has higher
miles, which doesn't necessarily bother me. I've had 2 YJs with over 150K
each and the 4.0 is probably the most reliable engine I've ever ...

CJ7 - ballpark alignment - DIY?22 Oct 2006 18:19 GMT19
Just installed a replacement steering gear box on my 83 CJ7 - and in
doing so I couldn't get the tie rod end off the pitman arm, so I
basically unscrewed it from the rest of the tie rod - then installed
the pitman arm/tie rod end onto the replacement gearbox and screwed the
258 YJ with rough idle22 Oct 2006 16:07 GMT4
I've seen this mentioned a few times on this forum as a possible
diagnosis for a poster with a rough idle complaint, but have yet to
find the solution... According to previous posts, it's "pretty easy"...
But again, no one's mentioned the easy solution.
XJ Rear leaf spring bolt specs22 Oct 2006 02:13 GMT1
can anyone tell me what the exact specs are for the XJ's rear leaf spring
bolts?  I'm changing the rear springs and am afraid that I may have to use
new bolts in the process.  I would like to pick up a set of 4 new bolts just
in case.
