My 1997 TJ service manual says the stock front axle is an 181 FBI. Is that what the rest of the universe calls a Dana 30?

I just bought a 1988 Wrangler with a soft top. The odometer has 93K, and I bought it from a service shop that had just replaced the 4.2L engine with another one that has about 50K. The car is a little hard to start in the cold (I live in the Poconos), but is running pretty well

I have an '04 Liberty Limited Edition and the only complaint that I have are with those @#!%$# radio transmittors in the valve stems (Tire Pressure Monitoring Display) which are too sensitive to temperature change and produce annoying alarms.

About half of the oil pan screws on my TJ are plain cap screws, and half have a threaded stud projecting. None of the studs do anything that I can see. What are these studs for?

I posted here about this before, and got some good info. Symptoms again.......... the car never overheats in town. Does not overheat sitting at a redlight. On the highway, at 70 mph or so, the engine runs about 10-15 degrees
