I smell gas!31 Jan 2007 16:46 GMT9
OK, I have only had my 94 YJ for just over a week now and had nothing
but problems so far. The latest being this... I filled it up totally
full today and ever since then, I smell gas. Not only outside, but on
the inside as well and its pretty strong!
Rear door hinges on 1998 Wrangler31 Jan 2007 08:33 GMT5
I've just bought a 1998 Wrangler - what a great car! Love driving it.
The rear door (tailgate) hinges are extremely stiff, and make a loud
creaking noise. I've soaked them in penetrating oil, but that has made
no difference.
91 jeep wrangler overflows fuel from the nozzle31 Jan 2007 04:36 GMT6
I have a 91 jeep wrangler with a 3 in. lift.  When filling it up,
(around 14 gallons), gas spits back from the fill up nozzle.  It can
then be filled up VERY SLOWLY unitl it is full.  Is this normal?
Thanks.

I bought the o-rings from the dealer, my dad put them in today while I
was at work.  The oil pressure is still pretty much zero.
Does one of the holes in the male piece have to line up with the hole in

Does anyone know if a psp from a 92 XJ 4.0 will bolt onto a 86 XJ

YJ brakes31 Jan 2007 02:29 GMT2
I had a D44 rear installed in my '92 YJ.  Brakes used were the ones
from the D35 that was replaced. The brakes worked ok (but not great)
with 32 inch tires. I'm now switching to 35's and would like to
upgrade the brakes.  Any thoughts concerning the best way of doing so,

AMC 20 Seals - Questions?29 Jan 2007 07:06 GMT5
I'm thinking (again) that I need to replace the seals in the AMC 20
rear axle of my 83 CJ7 (wide track).
I understand there are two (2) seals - an "inner" that helps keep the
grease/lube in the pumpkin, and an "outer" that protect the bearings
arg!29 Jan 2007 01:09 GMT4
Well, nothing like finding a new puddle of antifreeze under
the jeep. :/  It seems when I replaced the radiator, and
had to tighten up the lower transmission cooler line, the outer
bit must have loosened up a touch.  so there was antifreeze
Tires and speedometer28 Jan 2007 21:52 GMT11
I upgraded to alum canyon wheels and 30" tires from 195/75R15 steel
wheels and tires. Does my speedometer need to be adjusted?
Has anyone done this?
Tom
