| Followup-- 2000 JGC V-8 still overheating | 19 Jan 2007 19:50 GMT | 83 |

| Broken Motor Mount | 19 Jan 2007 17:54 GMT | 17 |
So...I ended up buying a steering column for the XJ from a junkyard (the bearings in the old one probably just need to be replaced, but I was fed up with it). After driving about 5 hours to pick it up, I got it in and drove to the gas station to fill up the tank.

My Dad has a 1942 GPW that we use on some hilly property, which has developed a problem that we can't seem to solve. Basically the engine will just quit running for no apparent reason. This used to happen rarely but is becoming much more common.

| 97 TJ transfer case leaking | 17 Jan 2007 15:13 GMT | 1 |
I had my 97 TJ in to the dealer for a recall notice and of course they found some things wrong with it. One of them was that the transfer case was leaking. Is this a huge job? Expensive? Does it need to be done right away? And, what will that effect on the Jeep? Thanks

Is there a way to make the rear washer pump work when the hardtop is off? I would assume there is a jumper in the electrical connection when it is connected to the hardtop, so what lines do I need to jump together?
