missed the jeep world.
I recently acquired the jeep in my sig, well about 3k miles ago, and the
Is it worth it?28 Feb 2007 00:22 GMT26
I just bought an 86 Cherokee. I recently started to remove the
interior and carpet and discovered the front floor pans were shot as
well as two spots behind the front seats. How do I decide whether the
vehicle is worth repairing. It looks as though the whole underside is
Found Front TJ Rubicon Rattle27 Feb 2007 02:39 GMT12
After changing U-Joints and many lifts and checks for worn shocks, exhaust,
motor mounts all else under the front. I found the rattle~~~ one bolt
missing from skid plate under driver seat side. The plate did not seem to
move but I guess trans torque and bumps made this seem to ...

The 'key-on/key-off' 3 times cycle does not work on my 05 GC.  Is there any

"Chirping" Noise on '98 TJ (somewhat long)25 Feb 2007 21:42 GMT1
So,
Recently, when temperatures dipped into the -20 wind-chills, my TJ
developed this strange "chirping" noise that sounded like it was
coming from the driveshaft between the transfer-case and the front
95 GC wipers stuck25 Feb 2007 17:16 GMT4
During the snow the other day, my wipers were frozen in the park
position. Without realizing, I left the switch on low. After a little
while the wipers broke free, did half a cycle and stopped again. I
thought they re-froze at the mid-point, but a little push on each arm

Weight-distributing hitch25 Feb 2007 16:01 GMT13
How much weight (how big a boat) does anyone think a 1990 YJ, 4.2L, 5-
speed could tow safely?
I'm trying to determine if our YJ will safely pull our
20.5' (3,000-3,500 lb) boat.

We have a problem with fast idle and no start when warm on an 89
Cherokee with 4.0L, the Renix multi-port injection, and an automatic.
A search of the web shows this is fairly common, but we seem to have
addressed all of the likely possibilities.

The front u joints are squeaking on my 95 Grand Cherokee. Can't get
them replaced until this weekend. Can I remove the driveshaft and
