Borla Headers for 98 TJ - Need advice11 Feb 2007 01:32 GMT12
I'm thinking of replacing my stock-cracked-POS exhaust manifold with a
set of Borla Headers (PN: 17127).  From what I can gather from reading
on the subject is that 17127 is a more-or-less drop-in replace for the
exhaust manifold, and PN 17236 re-routes a bit and requires a bit more
Lifting my YJ11 Feb 2007 00:23 GMT9

plan on doing some light off roading, and really don't know where to
begin. I don't want to go with any real large tires. I have a set of
30" BFG A/Ts I want to use, but I need some advice about how to go

1996 YJ Half door to 2002 TJ conversion10 Feb 2007 10:00 GMT10
My buddy gave me his old set of Greenish 1996 Half doors and soft
uppers. They need work. Especially the soft uppers. When i try them to
see the fit, it seems the angle is off a bit. Looks like the door is
1.5 " too low on closing. How easy is it to re-do the hinges and will
Front bumper and fenders questions09 Feb 2007 19:24 GMT5
Hey all Jeep owners...I have a 2005 Rubicon Unlimited....very factory,
have made no customizations to it thus far.  I'm not very mechanically
inclined, e.g. I don't change my own oil or really do anything myself
to the Jeep.  Last week I hit a patch of ice and slammed the front

Transmission is still slipping when accelerated hard.
Wheel spacers08 Feb 2007 22:30 GMT41
Just installed a 4" BDS suspension lift on a 94 YJ 6cyl.  The 33"
tires are rubbing the leaf springs with rims from an '06 Wrangler.
Booger.  I'm looking at wheel spacers on the net and on ebay.  The
ones I'm finding on ebay are billet aluminum for about $50 less than
Crack in Trackbar Mount08 Feb 2007 18:43 GMT8
I have a small crack developing in the weld where the track bar mount
connects to the rear axle.  Is this something that can be spot welded
back together, and do you think someone can do that without removing the
axle (due to the proximity of the fuel tank)?  What would you ...
Snapped off an exhaust bolt08 Feb 2007 15:40 GMT32
I was removing the nuts from two bolts where the exhaust pipe bolts onto
the exhaust header.  I had used some WD40 on them and got one off with
no issues.  I was loosening the other nut when I applied a little too
much pressure (but it wasn't a lot) when the bolt snapped on me.  ...

2001 TJ rear break squeak, abrupt breaking08 Feb 2007 01:37 GMT7
I have a 2001 TJ Sport in good condition. About 6-8 weeks ago it
rained very heavily for several days in the area I live. I don't have
a garage so the car was exposed to this constant rain the whole time.
Since then, on days when it is wet outside (rain, drizzle or just
