power steering on 75 FJ4007 Feb 2007 19:47 GMT1
I have a 1975 Toyota FJ40 and I'd like to have power steering.  Is there
a procedure to convert from manual?   I think the 1980 to 1982 FJ40's
could be had with power steering.
Please respond to RalphDL@webtv.net
Need help! 4cyl 97 TJ.... Tire Choice 31" or 33"07 Feb 2007 15:27 GMT19
Currently my rig (if I can call it a rig) is a 97 TJ 4cyl.  It is
pretty much stock... no aftermarket gears, diff, axles, or anything.
I have just recently put a 4" superlift suspension lift on it.  I
currently have BFG 31"x10.5s on it (they have been on there since i
ABS disabled on XJ07 Feb 2007 13:55 GMT18
In December, I bought a '98 XJ 4.0L. The guy who sold it to me said it has
ABS, and the brake fluid reservoir looks like the ones in the Haynes
manual for cars with ABS. The problem seems to be in the fusebox. It
appears someone has taken out the fuse for ABS. Could I cause ...
When it rains..it pours... (95 XJ wont start)07 Feb 2007 03:27 GMT5
My 95 XJ is dead...
No lights no buzzers no start.
The battery  reads 12.6 (or 12.8?) on a volt meter, and there is good
ground between the engine and the body (and the battery and the body).

soft top hardware06 Feb 2007 16:46 GMT6
I have a mostly complete softtop for my 86 CJ, but it is missing the
support bars around the each of the door frames needed to help the
doors seal up properly.  Anyone have pics of these (I don't even know
what they look like) or extra parts or somewhere I could find these?
93 GC wiper problem06 Feb 2007 13:24 GMT2
My 93 GC 135Kmi seems to have developed a wiper problem over the cold
weekend.  The wipers some times work fine.  However sometimes after
turning them off, the wipers try to park at the base of the windshield
and they get close but then it appears that they seize up or short
Need a driver-side soft upper.06 Feb 2007 05:28 GMT9
I am looking for a Spice colored driver (right) side soft upper for my
03' Wrangler SE. My plastic window cracked when I went to wipe a
smudge off of it. I learned the hard way not to touch the plastic when
it is below zero degrees outside. I don't want to drop $100 plus on a

U Joint question.05 Feb 2007 15:17 GMT9
Installed new U Joint on my 95 YJ. Rear axle. Lower joint. Got the
right part but it is not a tight fit into the yoke as I've been told
it should be. The joint has a grease fitting. Should I loosen the
straps and grease it up until the bearing caps contact the tabs, or
CJ Body lift question / Rear Disc Brake question / Bill H. ??????05 Feb 2007 04:01 GMT13
Hey Group,
  I have a 84 CJ 7  (4.2, T-5, 31/10.50/15)  that is very easy to highway @
70 mph. I'm wanting to do a 2 inch body lift ( as opposed to frame lift).
Other than Steering Column and Clutch linkage issues, is there anything else

Can someone tell me were the rear speakers are located? Are they in the back
hatch or in the sides of the rear doors?
Watch those parts weasles04 Feb 2007 16:17 GMT30
I brought home two 81 Mercedes turbo-diesels this week. I ordered a
thermostat from napa and got it out of the box. It's made in China and costs
about $26. I called the other stores in the region, Carquest, Kragen,
Autozone. All made in China. Like I would risk anyone's engine on ...

I shopped everywhere to get a deal, and unfortunatley the dealer I
bought it from is about 2 hours away. Well, last night and today, the
2005 Grand Cherokee Oil Change, 4.7L04 Feb 2007 14:45 GMT8
Hey guys,
New owner of an '05 after 4 years with a 2003.  Planning on doing the
first oil change this weekend so I decided to slide under to find if
the oil filter location had changed, which it had.  I also noticed the
