Floor pans22 Mar 2007 04:15 GMT2
I am looking for floor pans for my 86 XJ. Does anyone know of a online
source for this. One with photos. I need a set for both sides. Front
to rear. Rocker to trans hump. I found one site that had full length,
but no photos. I want to see a pic before I purchase. Thanks.
Patriot22 Mar 2007 02:19 GMT3
I keep hearing about the Patriot.  Reviews online, ads now online and
on TV.  I've been wheeling through the local Jeep dealerships in the
(yet unsuccessful) hope to see a model sitting out back waiting to be
prepped and put on display in the showroom.  Has anyone *seen* one
Daylight savings time...22 Mar 2007 01:12 GMT35
Could everyone please start obeying DST?  you're screwing up my
newsreader - now none of the posts make any sense because they're
nowhere close to the correct order.
Order, dammit!  Order in the court!
replacing rocker panels on 1993 jeep cherokee21 Mar 2007 22:35 GMT1
I'm wondering how hard it would be to replace a rusted out rocker
panel on my jeep cherokee sport (1993). I found the part on rock auto
for 46 dollars. Is this just a matter of taking out some bolts and
then replacing it or do I need to actually weld it in?
Underpowered Commander21 Mar 2007 19:24 GMT1
I have a 2006 Jeep Commander that I am leasing.  I like the vehicle,
but was wondering if there is anything I can do to it to increase the
acceleration /torque, and/or the MPG efficiency.   Obviously anything
I do would have to be reversable since I do not own the vehicle.
Aussie Lockers21 Mar 2007 08:52 GMT2
Hi, any comments regarding Aussie Lockers.  They seem to be very cheap
compared to other similar products, but the reviews are almost all positive.
I know the adage about you get what you pay for, but they must be doing
something right.
Headlight conversion kits21 Mar 2007 06:16 GMT4
Getting a little tired of the weak headlights in my 01 Cherokee sport,
so I want to replace the headlights with one of the many conversion kits
that are out there.  In my old YJ i had the hella vision kit, and liked
it.  seem to throw a good amount of light with a nice pattern ...
Borla Headers21 Mar 2007 05:26 GMT1
I own a '92 XJ, it looks like Borla doesn't make headers for XJ's
prior to '93. Anyone know why?
That's alright though. The price looks right on this PaceSetter for a
'92.
Jeep Cherokee Rear Axles, etc.21 Mar 2007 02:22 GMT6
I've had two Cherokees, a 1991, and now a 2000. I thought I had
learned a bit about these vehicles over the past 8+ years, but
apparently not enough. Here are some questions:
(1) I stumbled across a Wikipedia page devoted to the XJ; among other
2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee battery drain problem21 Mar 2007 02:13 GMT2
Hello I have a serious problem with my Grand Cherokee. The car will be
dead, not turning over, no battery power. After jumping the car it
idles very rough and will shut off if i don't give it some gas.
Eventually it will run although when I shut it off it will inevitably
SQUEAKY FRONT SEATS21 Mar 2007 02:08 GMT4
Hi all.  I'm sorry if this post sounds silly, but the squeaking sound
in my front driver seat is driving me bananas!  Somewhere in the seat
if I move (especially when cornering and my body leans either left or
right with the turn), the seat squeaks -- more like a creaking sound.
FS: XJ 4.5" leaf springs21 Mar 2007 01:48 GMT6
I bought a set of Rubicon Express 4.5" XJ full replacement springs and have
decided to go a different route. They are brand new, never installed. A
little surface rust from sitting, but in new condition. This is not a stock
pack with an AAL, but two full new rear springs. Located ...
Re-tapping a threaded hole20 Mar 2007 17:38 GMT7
I am thinking of drilling out and re-tapping a threaded hole in the
front of my YJ frame.  The original thread is 1/2 inch.  Will it work
if I drill it out with a 1/2 inch bit and then tap to 5/8 coarse
thread?

94 Grand Cherokee 5.2L V8. .. Intermittant stalling20 Mar 2007 15:01 GMT4
Was just given a 1994 Grank Cherokee. V8 5.2 engine.
Every once in a while it sputters out and stalls. Wont start up
right away when it happens, but will eventually fire back up
like nothing happened. This has happened while driving, not
