Low oil pressure in Wagoneer- easy fix or no?17 Mar 2007 15:14 GMT8
am considering the purchase of a '79 Wagoneer, 360/2bbl/Turbo 400.
Haven't looked at it yet but the owner says that one of the "issues"
with it is low indicated oil pressure when hot.  sounds like he hasn't
put a calibrated gauge on it yet but he said that a common problem had
2006 Liberty Enhanced Seat Belt Alert17 Mar 2007 02:29 GMT6
Page 45 of the Jeep 2006 Liberty manual talks about an Enhanced Seat Belt
Alert System (BeltAlert) that includes warnings when the front passenger
belt is not buckled.  The manual does not state "--if equipped" for this
feature, as it does with certain options, so it would appear ...

Just rebuilt the Rochester SE2 carb on my '81 CJ5. It's the 151 engine
commonly known as the "four banger". The bore is I have 5 hanging vacuum
hoses and 7 tubes looking for hoses and no idea what goes where as all my
marking have rubbed off. There is a vacuum hose routing ...
Squealing Sound When Slowing Down17 Mar 2007 00:02 GMT3
Despite almost rhyming this problem is only mildly obnoxious but I
wanted to see if it was indicative of something serious, or maybe just
brakes on their way out.  Whenever I'm slowing down and get below a
certain speed, say 15mph, there is a squealing noise coming from

Fixing exhaust lead16 Mar 2007 18:16 GMT10
The rearmost stud is broken on my 2.5 4cyl (95 YJ) and it has an
exhaust leak.  It was this way when I bought it so I have no idea how
long it has gone like this.  Yesterday I took it to a mechanic and he
said that he could just remove the manifolds and broken stud and put

Re: '86 CJ7 Shaking after ignition is turned off15 Mar 2007 12:19 GMT9
Mike, I've never understood why some always recommend ATF which costs
money over water which does not cost money.  Water works just fine, I
know of no benefit whatsoever to using ATF over water
Do you know of some benefit that ATF provides over water when used fo
more power from 4.015 Mar 2007 12:15 GMT22
Is there a cheep way to get more power out of a 93 Cherokee 4.0? I've been
told about TB spacers but is there any other things besides expensive turbo?
First Topless Drive of the Season!!15 Mar 2007 04:52 GMT25
Today, the first warm day of the year in SE Michigan, I had a
wonderful topless drive home for lunch and back.. I forgot how much I
love driving my Jeep sans top. It's such a difference from being
trapped inside a plastic box all winter.. It feels so open and free.
Rear Main Oil Seal15 Mar 2007 04:52 GMT10
I have a '96 GC 4.0 with 170k and it looks like the seal is starting to
leak. I was wondering if there was a good web site to go to for instructions
on replacing this before it's to late. Thanks in advance..
