| XJ oil pressure reading? | 05 Apr 2007 01:17 GMT | 6 |
Just bought an 86 Cherokee 2.8 and oil pressure readings seem weird. I've just read all the postings covering low oil pressure. (A lot of postings.) The sender often seems be the prime suspect. When I first start the engine the gauge shows about 40 pounds and

| Lift question | 04 Apr 2007 16:05 GMT | 7 |
Can someone direct me in the right direction here. I want to put a lift on my YJ. At least 2 inches. What are my options. What would be the most effective, yet the most economical. I don't want to go crazy, just want a little more clearance. I have 30" tires and think I'm

| Still having high idle problem on 88 Jeep Comanche (4.0l) | 04 Apr 2007 04:06 GMT | 32 |
So I'm getting good vacuum using the very imprecise "finger over the hose end" at the CCV hose, and the TPS sensor goes from about 1 to 5 volts. Is there some other things I should check? Today it behaved differently than usual, hitting close to 3000 rpm while

| Turn signals inop, Front turns flash when I hit Brakes. | 04 Apr 2007 00:37 GMT | 5 |
I have a 76 Jeep CJ7, Recently my turn signals stopped working, so I thought it was the flasher/relay. I replaced it. Still no turn signals. In addition, when I apply the brakes, the front turn signals/ parking lights illuminate with the brakes, so it looks like my brake

| 10W30 vs 10W40 in a 2002 TJ | 04 Apr 2007 00:24 GMT | 6 |
Is their a serious downside to using 10W40 as opposed to 10W30 in a 2002 TJ as I appear to have a lot more choice of oils at this weight than the 10W30 in full synthetics. I was reluctant to go down to the 0W30 & 5W30 unless anyone has an opinion to the contrary as I do not

I'll preface this post with this caveat: I'm an idiot. That being said, I tore off the transfer case on my 83 CJ7 and tossed it. I now need a new one. But where? Any leads? Mike Weber

What a forum!! Lots of great info. Scary info. Just bought my first Jeep. First week or two have been awesome!, with some clunking noises that I just chalked up to "a Jeep thing". Now graduating from clunking/rattle in the rear end over the tiniest
