| PCM/cable cover on 1998 4.0 ZJ | 15 Jun 2007 05:42 GMT | 2 |
The service manual for my 1997 4.0L Grand Cherokee references a snap-on plastic cover over the Powertrain Control Module and the 3 cable connectors. I do not have one. I don't know if I ever did. The local Jeep dealer's parts desk cannot find any such thing.

For the last day or so my '96 ZJ 6 cyl. Laredo has been running rough and stalling. It'll smooth out for 5 miles or so then start stalling again. Just today the "Check Engine" light came on so I did the on-off-on-off-on-off-on thing with the ignition switch and got the

I've got an interesting one. I think I know the answer but lets hear what you all have to say. When I start my CJ, normally it cranks right up. Rarely though, I have to give it another try. First crank is normal speed always but the second try

| Exhaust system recommendations? | 13 Jun 2007 02:13 GMT | 6 |
One other question. Since moving here to Rude Island, my exhaust has been quickly rotting away and now needs replacement so I can pass inspection. I'm leaning towards a Boorla catback system, OR a Flowmaster Stainless Deltaflow 40 series muffler with a stainless custom pipe.

| '97 XJ won't start...and no codes | 12 Jun 2007 02:44 GMT | 28 |
I have a 97 XJ that won't start, it turns over, but just won't fire up. Now, ordinarily, i wouldn't bother posting with something of this vague nature, however-- I can't pull up any codes. Not even a 55 will appear, so does that mean the computer brain is dead?

| Brake Rotors | 11 Jun 2007 23:03 GMT | 1 |
Wonder if anyone can clear this up: I have a 2000 Jeep Chrokee Sport (6 cyl). I went to an auto parts shop and asked to buy a pair of front brake rotors for it. They asked me this: "Are the rotors on your car Composite or Cast"?" I didn't have a clue. So
