PCM/cable cover on 1998 4.0 ZJ15 Jun 2007 05:42 GMT2
The service manual for my 1997 4.0L Grand Cherokee references a snap-on
plastic cover over the Powertrain Control Module and the 3 cable connectors.
I do not have one. I don't know if I ever did. The local Jeep dealer's parts
desk cannot find any such thing.

years jeeps.  I have a 2006 Wrangler X (10,000 miles on it) with the
4L six cylinder engine and 6 speed manual tranny.  I have noticed

How difficult would it be to get a TJ softtop onto a YJ?  I've looked and
have not really found a definite answer.
I know it's not just going to slap right on, no quesitons asked, but I am
wondering if someone has an idea on what I would need to change to get it to

'96 GC-What do these "Check Enging" codes tell me??14 Jun 2007 02:36 GMT4
For the last day or so my '96 ZJ 6 cyl. Laredo has been running rough
and stalling. It'll smooth out for 5 miles or so then start stalling
again. Just today the "Check Engine" light came on so I did the
on-off-on-off-on-off-on thing with the ignition switch and got the
Grind/Click Sound - Front Axle13 Jun 2007 18:01 GMT12
97XJ Sport w/Dana 30 front axle. Noticed a few days ago an unusual
noise during slow speed tight turns. Parked the Jeep and used the
daughters car to finish up last week of work. Now that I'm on
vacation, I jacked up the jeep yesterday, and it sounded like the

Odd starting situation..13 Jun 2007 02:20 GMT6
I've got an interesting one. I think I know the answer but lets hear what
you all have to say.
When I start my CJ, normally it cranks right up. Rarely though, I have to
give it another try. First crank is normal speed always but the second try
Exhaust system recommendations?13 Jun 2007 02:13 GMT6
One other question. Since moving here to Rude Island, my exhaust has been
quickly rotting away and now needs replacement so I can pass inspection.
I'm leaning towards a Boorla catback system, OR a Flowmaster Stainless
Deltaflow 40 series muffler with a stainless custom pipe.
'97 XJ won't start...and no codes12 Jun 2007 02:44 GMT28
I have a 97 XJ that won't start, it turns over, but just won't fire
up. Now, ordinarily, i wouldn't bother posting with something of this
vague nature, however-- I can't pull up any codes. Not even a 55 will

Brake Rotors11 Jun 2007 23:03 GMT1
Wonder if anyone can clear this up:
I have a 2000 Jeep Chrokee Sport (6 cyl).  I went to an auto parts shop
