Hello all.  I know you've probably heard this question a million

manual tranny and A/C.  I want to lift my jeep, but I don't want to
spend a lot of money on replacing the CV driveshaft and SYE kit.  My

Building a 'new' CJ731 Jul 2007 05:08 GMT16
I saw on the Discovery Channel a company out of California building 'new'
1969 Camaros (Unique Performance). They're getting $125,000 for them. They
start with a junk from a boneyard, presumably using the VIN and shell.
I was thinking (probably a mistake - but...) one could pretty ...
'88 Grand Wagoneer Tranny (727) Purge?  How to?31 Jul 2007 03:13 GMT1
My Dad has an 88 grand wagoneer with an auto 727 tranny.  He just
discovered the previous owner put in ATF4 in the darn thing instead of
the Dexron.  How does one purge the fluid out (easily)?  He can of
course drop the pan, but that will probably only exchange 1/4 of the
1986 Jeep Grand Wagoneer30 Jul 2007 16:53 GMT1
I wrote in a few weeks back about my Wagoneer backfiring and the dying
on the way back from NH.  Thankfully your advice was right.  I rebuilt
the carb, replaced the disributer and plugs and got it going.  I had
some one else set the timing and replace the muffler (previous owner

I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo (Freedom Edition) with the original

Popping noise when turning29 Jul 2007 01:01 GMT17
I replaced my right front hub assembly yesterday, and everything was
ok right after, but now I am noticing a popping noise (multiple times,
like pop pop pop pop) when turning or swerving at low speeds. Could
this be a bad U-Joint? I also have another problem where the steering
CJ3s29 Jul 2007 00:13 GMT3
Did Mitsubishi make CJ3s ? For how long ?
I saw a (presumably) modified CJ3  with very wide axles and wheelarches with
a Mitsubishi stamp on the grille, on Koh Tao ( an island 70 km off the east
coast of Thailand). Don't know what engine it had in it, but it sounded
Anyone here know Kenny Kizzar (Kizzar Automotive) ofChattanooga TN?28 Jul 2007 19:39 GMT3
He just offered me a power seat track for a Cherokee, $100, paid-in-advance
by cash, cashier's check or money order. Shipping would be by UPS to be paid
on delivery. Could it be someone's trying to swindle my yankee a$$?
There was a Kenny Kizzar out near there who used to be a ...
