Have a 96 4.0 XJ Sport.
I will be ordering a OME 2in suspension lift shortly, have done alot
of research online and found a few questions i can't get a consistant
answer on.

I am reinstalling the receiver hitch on my YJ. I have lost the two
bolts that go through the hitch assy and into the bottom of the frame
on the Jeep. Would anyone know what size goes in there? Metric or
english. I need to buy them and I don't know how to tell the size I

Suppose you had your TJ's ignition key stolen, one of the transponder types
that works with the Sentry Key Immobilizer System (SKIS).
I understand the "customer learn" procedure to program in a new key, so you
can use an aftermarket key, etc.

What could be draining my battery when the vehicle is not running? I
noticed the dome stays on constantly. I can jump start it and it runs.
But last night when I turned off the engine, then shut the headlights
off, the head lights started to come back on, but very dimly. I know

  Question.. Have 91 jeep wrangler it makes gear grinding noise and will not
go into reverse except in 4low which it works fine...  ANY IDEAS ON THIS...

I changed the tranny fluid and filter in my wife's 1997 Grand Cherokee
a few weeks ago. While I had the pan off, I decided to adjust the
bands. Everything was going fine until today, when the check engine
light came on. My OBD2 code reader gives me the codes p1762 and P1764,

I have an 86 XJ and the dome light stays on constantly. Any ideas for
me?

I have a 2002 Grand Cherokee, 4.7 V-8. Went to start it and only a small
click from under the hood. Jumping the battery was no joy.
First thing to check before I look for my manual?

So, I just picked up a cheap hitch cover with LED brake light built in
that plugs into the trailer wiring connector. Problem is, it only taps
the green lead, so the light behaves exactly like the right brake/turn
light and blinks when I'm signaling right.

This is the perfect "take the dog to the vet, go to Home Depot for a

I live in California and have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Occasionally
