I bought a TJ that came with a Champion 8000lb winch with remote. I've heard that most Jeepers don't get anything less than 12000lb for a winch for safety reasons. Should I just sell this winch or is 8000lb a safe rating for getting myself unstuck? I don't want that cable snapping ...

Starting with '07 Jeeps purchased 07-25-07 Jeep is offering a "Lifetime" Power Train warranty. If the terms are similar to the 7/70 I have on my '04 TJ it could be verrry useful. The 7/70 has already saved me hundreds. Chrysler products will also have the same coverage.
