Just want to confirm ...if the key turns and the motor turns but the electrical does not come on before start and engine will not stay running is it the key cylinder or the switch? About a year ago I could get it to work by slowly turning on then start..but

I've got a "tire sticking way out past my Jeep flares" problem on my TJ and need to solve it relatively quickly. The local Jeep shop is $450+ CDN for flares ($550 for Xenon, and $650 or Bushwhackers). I've found some on eBay for a lot cheaper but they appear to be no-name. The guy ...

I've got a '99 TJ Sport and a 4 year old who I normally transport around in a car. Are Jeeps safe for children? Any special car seats, strap setups, cautions, warnings, pieces of advice, etc to keep him as safe as possible if I want to take him for a ride?
