On my '84 Scrambler - I just installed front/rear MORE shackles - there's an extra bolt w/sleeve for each shackle set, which I first thought to be the hanger/bolt for the other side of each set of springs (and couldn't figure out what the sleeve was for).

I installed a hitch, snapped on the wiring harness back at the access panel behind the spare. I have not yet run the fused power line to the battery as the instructions indicate.

i have an 88 wrangler yj, 4.2 L, 6 cyl. when driving down a hill to a stop sign, when the clutch is in the rpms drop real low and the car eventually turns off. i dont know if the downhill thing is important but that seems to be the only time it happens. any help is

Kind of hilarious story. Brake light was on, which probably meant the handbrake was still engaged, but I decided to ignore it and see if I could loosen it up by speeding up. Much noise and grinding, vibrations, then the whole thing exploded onto the freeway. Result,

I have about 81,000 miles or about 135,000 km. And keep it nice and maintained. Last fall i had problems , ZJ would not idle when cold, i replaced the IAC and we were back in business.
