CJ8 6cyl water pump replacement sealer?31 Dec 2007 18:05 GMT1
1982 CJ8 6 cylinder water pump failed.
Second time -- I replaced the original water pump about 15 years ago.
Have pulled out the failed pump .. ready to install new one.
Question #1 .. should I put some sort of sealer or some sort of thread

Its me again. Continuation from MCU?  Had some time to do some diagnosing.
Have a 88 yj, 4.2 / 258, standard, 2 bbl Carter
The Metering  pins on the carb are in the aft position, when starting the
engine and when its running.  Disconnecting a vaccum line will not advance

Hello. My brother owns a 96 Laredo with an automatic trans. 4wd. 4.0
engine. Does this have a dual tps? Would this cause the engine idle to
drop and stall, as well as prevent it from shifting out of first gear?
He recently power washed the engine. Any thoughts??

So, I stopped driving the Jeep ASAP on 12/23 when the u-joint play I
mentioned late last month suddenly became a loud clunk, noticeable when
starting from a dead stop or lifting off the throttle at freeway speed.

I opened up the tail assembly of my 2002 JGC Laredo to change the
brake light bulb and it appears there is actually one bulb for both
the brake and tail light?  My tail lights go on with the headlights
but when the lights are off the left brake light does not light.

neutral safety switch is. It wont start unless I hold the key on and

So I have finished beefing up my new frame, off an 86 CJ7 to replace my 81
CJ7 frame that is cracked. Redoing body mounts on new frame as they are a
little rusty, while doing the measurments I was looking at the frame
dimensions,
