99 Cherokee Sport - No Door Restraint20 Jan 2008 16:11 GMT6
I opened my front driver's side door last week and heard a strange
metallic "crunching" noise. From that time on, when the door is
opened, it feels like there is no resistance and no stops at the
halfway open and full open positions. It just kind of swings freely.
Automatic transmission oil change question - Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD20 Jan 2008 12:04 GMT1
This sounds really stupid, but where in the earth is the transmission
oil container located in the 2.7 CRD Grand Cherokee (2002)? The
maintenance manual does not give any hint, and I just can't find it.
Pls advise.

Its been quite a few years - I haven't been a regular since 02 or so? Good
to see RAMJ+W is still alive and kicking.
The only jeep i have right now is a grand cherokee 5.9, with a mild lift on

CJ2A rear springs19 Jan 2008 17:08 GMT19
My CJ2A has two set of springs on the rear.  The normal spring under and its
looks like a heavy load spring over set on top of the axle.    Was this a
factory option for a CJ, or some special thing someone added.

I'm trying to replace one of the cross members for the roof rack, but
I can't get the cap at the end of the rail to come off.
I've removed the bolt at the end of the rail, but something else is
Rear Door Handles - '94 XJ17 Jan 2008 16:16 GMT4
I am having trouble with the rear, outside door release on my Cherokee,
parkicularly the driver's side.  Is there something standard to be done
about this?  Can't figure how to remove them and spritzing them with WD
doesn't seem to help much.  They open fine with the inside ...
4 wheel drive/lack of 4 wheel drive problem, 95 YJ17 Jan 2008 02:09 GMT4
Ok so I made the mistake of romping around in the middle of the
desert, at night, in an area I was unfamiliar with, and I did some
damage to my 95 YJ.  In short, I had to replace the front driver's
side leaf spring, which, in it's bending, pushed the front drive

Is it ok to remove the silencer/venturi from the intake hose on my
4.0 ? What would I gain from doing so? Will I gain gas mileage? Horse
power?
Thanks,

Anyone know when the earliest is that you can access these trails?  I know its
dependant on how much snow there is, but any ideas?
We would like to make a run down at the end of June - what's our chances?  We do
expect to still see snow at the higher elevations.
