Why would a TF999 in a YJ leak out fluid from the vent when its not showed

daughter and myself 4 hours, 4 nuts off engine bay side, 3 cables off inside
and one phillips screw. Drain on radiator is a peice of @#$%, spray entire
contents on every nut, bolt, engine, axle, steering, ...

Just about every GL-5 gear lube appropriate for an axle *already* has
the friction modifier additive included.  Look on the back label wher
