What does vibration really feel like or sound like on lift?11 May 2008 17:51 GMT5
Have an 05 TJ with a 4.5" short arm RE lift on it.  CV shaft etc.  I
didn't cut any corners.  measured pinion angle, adjusted upper control
arms, etc.  Been fine for a couple years.
I am wondering what does a vibration feel like?  Is it a contant vibe

While wheeling a few days ago, the jeep was at an extreme angle and
the engine was about to stall. I was driving off a ledge using the
brakes.  I realeased the brakes to see if the Jeep would roll forward
a bit and then when I pressed on the brake pedal again it went to the

Hey List,
I had a lady email me through my WWII Jeep website.  She is cleaning up some
property and on this property sit 14 or so old jeeps. Cj-2a, maybe 3A's, CJ-5,
M38A1    all sorts of jeeps in their natual habitat... LOL  most covered with

and parked the 2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo. On my return later I found that
the car doesn't work. None of the gages (Jeep's spelling) seem to activate

i know you hate diesel engines in light vehicles for fear of pollution.  in
addition to purchasing an '01.5 cummins powered dodge this week (for a work
truck), i also purchased a 2008 cummins powered dodge ram with the 6.7 liter

i dont foresee ever using my hard top and plan to sell it locally and
online.  it is a 2006 that is in near perfect condition.  what can i expect
to reasonably get for this hard top?

Howdy,
I understand the new 6 speed gearbox has PTO ports on both sides.  So
has/is anyone making a PTO kit for this thing, or a 3 point hitch?
The old willys could be used as tractors, I'm thinking the new tranny

I know about the ongoing challenge with Jeep warped rotors and pads....
luckily have not had that problem since the last change out.
Just curious about ongoing brake maint.

I was going to fork over about $180-$300 worth of new plastic headlight
housings for my 1999 grand Cherokee.  My old ones were a mess and light
barely came through these nasty, yellowed, funked up plastic lenses. A

I have a 96' grand Cherokee with the 5.2 and i only get 6 mpg in the city and
9 on the highway.
what should i do to improve the mileage?
