Odd overheating issue (99 Wrangler 4.0)01 Sep 2008 00:46 GMT10
I love my Jeep.  I've had it since I drove it off the lot new.  That

first trip...Except
The last few months it has been running hot once in awhile.  It is

replacement mirror glass 05 Jeep Rubicon28 Aug 2008 18:45 GMT3
Just bought my 05 Jeep Rubicon and Love it. My driver side mirror has
scratches on it that are not deep.
I went to discount auto parts to get a buffing paste to remove the
scratches. The DAP clerk said using a paste may make it worse. I had them

Decent but inexpensive stainless bolt-on replacement exhaust system?27 Aug 2008 22:25 GMT8
The exhaust system on my CJ-7 (straight six, 5-speed) is pretty much
completely rusted through, and needs to be replaced. Basically I need
everything from the exhaust manifold back.
I'd like to find a pre-bent, bolt-on system--does anyone have any
Jeep Wrangler TJ Cluster problem, please help.27 Aug 2008 21:25 GMT5
I have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 2.5 - 5 speed 70,000 miles.  I bought my
Jeep 2 weeks ago, and the battery went dead.  I cleaned the wires and
clamps and re-posted to the battery terminal, and she cranked right
up.  BUT, most parts in the cluster weren't working.  The only thing
Gas tank plug26 Aug 2008 20:11 GMT9
My '95 YJ has a hole in the plastic gas tank.  (I have a new gas tank
and Kilby skid plate on order but need to get this thing going right
away for wheeling on Sunday.)  The current state is:  gas tank dry,
hole drilled and tapped, a bolt can be threaded in and tightened a

Now that that loud mouth j.rk off Bill has disappeared.
Any other -ex- Jeepers in here?  Several years back I traded in my 93
Cherokee for a Subaru and never looked back.  Best deal I ever made.
Of course, if McCain wins the presidency, I may have to move to Canada

Answering my own question - XJ Rear Discs23 Aug 2008 04:56 GMT13
A month or two ago, I asked whether stock XJ wheels would still fit if
Liberty Rear Discs were mounted onto my '98 XJ.
On Saturday AM, I pulled the rear brake parts from a crashed '07
Liberty.  They essentially were a direct bolt-on, and the stock wheels

broken rear driveshaft22 Aug 2008 15:10 GMT8
My '88 jeep Grand Wagon was making an unusual shudder this morning. On my

then it wouldn't accelerate. I was able to pull it off into a grassy field.
I looked under it and the rear drive shaft is no longer ...
Pinion bearing noise on '91 Cherokee Sport22 Aug 2008 00:22 GMT5
I'm trying to discern the difference between a pinion bearing whine and a
