If i stop and start it a couple of times it settles down to a
reasonable level-- some mornings it will jump up and stay at over
1500rpm-- i can pump the throttle but to no avail-- it has to be
restarted to cure it. The high idle can show up anytime.

Ever since the D44 was installed on my '95 YJ it has been very easy to
lock up the rear brakes.  This seems to be due to the D44 drum brakes

Don't know if you all remember I had a light problem last month, was
putting in LED tail lights, had signal till I put brakes on then no signal,
Mike diagnosed I had a wire in one swapped, so I switched it, and all was

A/C continues to blow once engine is off and key removed.  We can still cut
it off by the A/C switch.  Freaky to have it still blowing after turning it

My son has a  1997  JGC, with V-8 engine.   In general, it runs great, but
he has a problem starting it the first thing in the morning.
On the first start of the day, it take quites a while to start.  After it
runs for a minute, he can shut it off and it will start up very quickly.
