Yeah, I know it's an anti-roll bar but when you go to buy the repair part it's called a "sway bar link". Anyway, one of mine was busted and had occasion to change it. This was on a '97 where for some reason it has a ball joint.

95 XJ Sport, 4.0, Auto. When cold, the transmission stays in first gear way longer than normal, upwards of 4000 rpm. If I blip the throttle, it will shift, but after the next stop it will stay in first again until I trick it

So my wife was without a Jeep for a year and she wanted another. The Olds just didn't cut it getting back into the camping spots or on some of the rural roads we travel on and I was driving the CJ7 all the time so we got her a 2000 Cherokee Sport.
