Sportage Bypass hose/pipe?30 Aug 2005 22:40 GMT1
I have a 1998 Sportage, 4WD manual trans, 2L, 4 cylnder.
On the engine there is what I believe is the bypass hose for the
cooling system. There is a short rubber hose that comes off the water
pump, makes a 90 degree turn and couples to an aluminum tube that runs

I am soon to be getting a 1998 Sportage that has a leaking
fuel tank. I have not had  much luck locating on the web. Are these
hard to find, and/or expensive? What should I expect this to cost?

I have a 2002 Kia Rio LS Auto with just over 62,000km on the clock.
Apart from some squeaking rear seat catches, (fixed with newspaper on
the catch), I have had no problems.

I just bought a 2002 kia rio rx-v and the clutch pedal feels lose. but
the catch on the clutch is maybe 2 inches from the floor just
woundering if anyone know if its going or whats happening. never slips

Just recently the engine check light sometimes comes on whilst running and
can either stay on till I switch off, or goes out after few minutes. I'm
having no problems with starting or running, no misfires, etc. so what
could the problem be ??

If anyone out there has a picture of the rear drum brakes on a 99 KIA
sephia, I could use a bit of help. Beleive it or not I took pics of the drum
before disassembly. I just cannot for the life of me put the smaller spring
into place. My oicture doesn;t tell me where it connects ...

Does anyone know if the amount of delay for the auto lights in my 04 Amanti
can be adjusted?  It is almost dark when the lights finally come on.  I
would prefer them to come on at dusk.  Also is there a way to allow for a
little more delay so they do not come on under highway ...

I have a Sportage and when it's switched off for several hours, the battery
is being 'drained' of power. (battery is new & alternator is charging).
I've checked that nothing is left switched on, but it still happens. I now
have to keep disconnecting the battery when ever park up !!  ...

Has anyone experianced the shearing of the roll pin at the crank pulley.
Mostly due to a change in product design on the sprocket and washer, plus a
change in the length of the actual crank bolt.
Anything anyone else knows would be greatly appreciated
