have an 03 sorento ex and am unable to find the pcv valve. request
assistance in locating it. does the upper intake have to be removed?

This topic has come up several time recently at kia-forums.com.
While attempting to accelerate, the engine may drop back down to idle
speed for up to twenty seconds. This has been reported on both diesel
and gasoline models and both on automatic and manual models. The

 I recently purchased a new '06 RIO5, and despite almost all highway
 driving and the same style of driving that used to get me 30+ MPG in a
 larger, heavier car, I'm getting only around 26-27mpg in my first
 tanks full in the new smaller, lighter Rio5.

Ive posted bout a 3 weeks ago on how to remove a blasted crankshaft
pulley and then eventually  found a way and finally changed out the
water pump,re-installed the timing belt, and put the alternator back
one....(all this because the tensioner mount for the alternator broke

blew up,the car was out of warranty in nov.2005.
An independant garage is carriying out the repair.
